We are thrilled to announce that we are sponsoring and working in partnership with Electric Runway to bring an incredible evening showcasing talented designers and makers in Fashion Tech from here at home and abroad to kick off Maker Festival.

Amanda Cosco is the creator and founder of Electric Runway which focuses on bringing together the worlds of fashion and technology, building community and exposure for designers. She is a multi-media journalist who has been writing about Fashion Tech since 2010, and has taken her passion for the industry to the next level.

Dystropolis by Wendy Ng, VANDAL, Starker’s Corsetry, and Daniel Christian Tang are some of the designers who will be showcasing their stunning garments. Expect some sci-fi genius and innovative creations from MUSE The Brain Sensing Headband, Zackees, ESight, Threadsmiths (unstainable clothes? Yes please!), MeU, Ear O Smart, Izzie Colpitts-Campbell, Hexoskin, SOVO, Daily Goods Fashion Tech, and Benitez Vogl. Eyewear is provided by Guild Eyewear.

The other sponsors that we are excited to be working with are Maker Festival, Girl About Toronto, Ryerson Fashion Zone, and Cirque-It.

The event is going to be a fantastic evening of sneak peeks into the future of fashion in our society as technology continues to develop.
